Tootsie Rolls are Coming!
The 2026 Tootnsie Roll Citizes with Disabilities Drive will be here before we know it. We will be donning our bright yellow aprons and passing out Tootsie Rolls and seeking donations over 4 weekends in January and February. There will be a drive at Our Lady of Lourdes after all Masses on Saturday and Sunday, January 17th and 18th, and our Publix drives will be held on Friday and Saturday at the dates and locations below:
- January 9th and 10th – Publix @ West Villages Marketplace (12165 Mercado Drive)
- January 23rd and 24th – Publix @ Venice Commons (1445 E Venice Avenue)
- February 6th and 7th – Publix @ Venice Village Shops (4173 S Tamiami Trail)
There will be four 2 hour shifts from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm for each Publix date (please do not solicit money and stand in the middle between the entrance & exits at the Publix Stores).
Please volunteer to work one or more Masses or Publix shifts via Signup Genius by clicking the button below. Please feel free to volunteer for a shift along with your spouse or significant other.

The “Citizens with Disabilities Drive” was started in the early 1970s and has grown to include the majority of councils in the country. It has collected and distributed more than $390 million since then. Our charities this year are Venice Special Olympics, Venice Challenger Baseball and the Loveland Center.
