Backpack Program Update

Following is a message about this program from Council 9924 Backpack Coordinator, Mike Milak (Mmilak33@gmail.com 941-380-7248):

Sir Knights:

The flyer above is an appeal from All Faiths Food Bank that Council 9924 support their Back Pack Program for less fortunate students at Taylor Ranch School. The program provides healthy nourishment for weekends where in many cases these kids might not have a good lunch.

Thru November there is a matching donation program available. This year members and friends of 9924 have donated over $4,000. All Faiths has been seeing cutbacks in some of their federal funding and can use all the support they can get. This time of year is a great time for those of you who must take Mandatory Withdrawals from your IRAs, so please consider this program for your Charitable Donations.
