$6000 Donated to Venice Area Mobile Meals

Under the partnership of the Knights and CCW, Our Lady of Lourdes continued running the monthly Bingo event in 2026 to benefit local charities.  These events continue to be well recieved, and as a result, on Thursday, August 13th, OLL was proud to dontate a check for $6000 to Venice Area Mobile Meals from the net Bingo proceeds earned during the April, May, June and July events.

The check presentation was made to Venice Area Mobile Meals representative Bob Sloboda, second from left, above.  All those pictured are (from left to right) as follows: Deputy Grand Knight Mark Schafer (representing Knights Council 9924 & Bingo Leader Tom Hankard, not pictured), Bob Sloboda, CCW Bingo Leader Jackie Briguglio, Our Lady of Lourdes Pastor Fr. Jay Jancarz, CCW Chair Bernadette Rafferty and CCW & Mobile Meals member Mary Anderson.
