Anthony Leone Presented with July 2026 Knight of the Month Award

At the July 8th, 2026 Council 9924 Membership Meeting,  Anthony Leone (picured above) was announced as having won the July Knight of the Month award by Deputy Grand Knight  Mark Schaefer. This is in recognition and appreciation for Anthony demonstrating precisely what it means to be a Knight.

Anthony has always been one of the first to help his fellow Knights wherever needed.  For example, in the eight short months since being exemplified into the Third Degree he has:

• Volunteered to serve at monthly Bingo events
• Worked at the Fall Recruiting Drive
• Volunteered to help place and remove the flags for our Veterans Day observance at Sarasota National Cemetary
• Signed up to be a member of the dedicated Cleanup team for next season's monthly "Best Breakfast"
• Became an Usher at the 8:00 AM Sunday Masses
• Became exemplified in the Assembly 1818 Fourth Degree immediately after being exemplified into the Council 9924 Third Degree
• Attended the Assembly 1818 June Retreat at Our Lady of Perpetual Help
• Signed up to join the Assembly 1818 Color Corps

In addition to all this, Anthony is always quick to make suggestions and share his insights with his Brother Knights at membership meetings.
