John Owens Presented with the June 2026 Knight of the Month Award

At the June 10th, 2026 Council 9924 Membership Meeting,  John Owens (picured above) was presented with the Knight of the Month award by Deputy Grand Knight  Mark Schaefer. This is in recognition and appreciation for John taking on the role of communications lead for our Council.

Since taking on the communications lead, John has become a much needed liason between our Council and the Parish which has enabled us better coordinate our activities.  John has also adopted the Flocknote software to better facilitate email communications to our Council membership for most purposes, such as volunteer requests and dissemination of information from our Grand Knight.
