Mike O'Connell Presented with the March 2026 Knight of the Month Award

At the March 11th, 2026 Council 9924 Membership Meeting Mike O'Connell (above, right) was presented with the Knight of the Month award by Grand Knight  Eric Bisighini (above, left). This is in recognition and appreciation for his extraordinary efforts since stepping up in 2025 to assume the office of Treasurer, replacing long time treasurer Bob Rueger.

In addition to managing and reporting on our Operations, Backpack Program, Bingo and Bill Morris Fund accounts, Mike has developed a scoreboard to track and report our fundraising activities and the allocation of those funds across the charities we support.

Mike was also instrumental in the establishment of the OLL Bingo program, researching and ensuring the program complies with all applicable governance and statutes.
