J.D. Vance Speech at the National March for Life

Vice President J.D. Vance was again the keynote speaker at this year’s National March for Life which took place on January 23rd.

He began the speech by announcing that he and Usha are expecting their fourth child, a boy.

Vice President Vance emphasized that the Trump Administration is pro-life and he described numerous pro-life steps the Administration has taken including the ending of funding for abortion.

He said that the Administration has ‘launched fraud investigations into Planned Parenthood affiliates for millions of dollars in PPP loans that were unlawfully received and unlawfully forgiven by the Biden Administration.”

He also said that the Administration has put a ban on fetal tissue in federal research.

Vice President Vance said the Biden Administration “used Medicaid and other programs to launder your tax dollars into abortion money all over the United States.”

In foreign policy, the Biden Administration was doing all they could to export their pro-abortion, radical gender ideology, and they did this by threatening those countries dependent on U.S. support. The Trump Administration has ended that and has cut funding to any NGO not promoting life and families.

He talked about how pagan cultures and barbarian societies routinely discarded their babies, saying that’s not who we are nor the kind of people we want to become. He said that the Bible tells us, “…each life is fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator.”

“We know that life is a gift,” but the far left in our country pushes a message to our young people that marriage and children are a burden and children shouldn’t be brought into a world because of “climate change or some other reasons.”

His message was that babies are precious and family is a great source of joy.

Finally, he urged the march participants to keep fighting for the unborn and not to get discouraged by the slow pace of political change. The truth will prevail.
